Pedestal, Shelf or Tabletop Assemblage

Hinged box filled with tight-fitting type-setting units. The box can be completely closed. While the objects are set in place permanently, it appears that they can be removed for various (scientific? mystical?) applications.

Plaster cast of the eye of Michelangelo's David. A wheeled vehicle is pressed up to its left side, delivering a blood-red glass "teardrop". The hanging red crystal is interchangeable with the clear glass crystal in the vehicle's base.
